How to View and Save Patient Results in Waggoner CCVT on iPad

Steps are below on various ways to save, print, and move the files.  We also are including a video linked that illustrates the various methods.

1. Access the Patient List

1. Open the Waggoner CCVT application on the iPad.
2. Select Patients.
3. Enter the required security password when prompted.
4. The Patient List will be displayed.

2. View & Saving Patient Results (Default Method)

1. Locate and select the patient whose results you want to view.
2. Select View.
3. Scroll down to the available options.
4. Select Save to save the patient result as a file. Please note that saving the file will store the results outside the HIPAA secure default folder in the Waggoner CCVT application. Please ensure that proper patient data security protocols are used.

3. Confirm and Verify the Saved File

After selecting Save, a confirmation message will appear:

File has been saved. Would you like to open it?

1. Select Yes to open the saved file.
2. Review the file carefully.
3. Confirm that the patient results and signature are displayed correctly and that the signature appears as expected.

Important: It is recommended that you verify the saved file before sharing it to ensure that all required information and the signature are present and displayed correctly.

4. Sharing/Moving the File (Custom Method 1)

While viewing the patient file, you may chose to email it, save it, or another option via the Apple menu at the top of the file.

1. At the top of the file, click the Share icon to open the sharing options available.

2. To send via the email via the iPad's email server, click the Mail icon. A blank email with the report pre-attached as a PDF will open.

3. To Save click Save to File in the options list.  A new popup will appear where you can choose where to save the file. Note you will be able to edit the name of the file when saving.

4. You may also send it via another channel per office protocol.

5. Sharing/Moving the File (Custom Method 2)

The other option is to click the Print button on the patient's results report, accessing the same Apple sharing menu options

1. Click Print on the patient's result page.

2. If your printer is on the same WiFi as the iPad, it should appear as available. You may print using the desired preferences.

2. If you want to choose another channel click the Apple share icon at the top of the popup window.

3. Choose the desired channel to move or save the file.

6. Locating a Saved File

If you are saving the results using the default method for future recall, the saved patient result file is stored in the Files application on the iPad as a PDF file.

1. Minimize or exit the Waggoner CCVT application.
2. Open the Files application (bloue folder icon).
3. On the left side of the screen, locate the Locations section.
4. Select On My iPad.
5. Open the Waggoner CCVT folder.
6. The folder will contain the files saved from the Waggoner CCVT application.

5. Identify and Open the Saved Result

Patient result files are automatically saved using the following naming format:

Patient Name – [Date]

Note: The iPad does not provide an option within this workflow to assign a custom file name. As a result, files saved from the Waggoner CCVT application will use the default Patient Name and date-based file name.

1. Locate the required file.
2. Select the file to open it.
3. Review the patient result as needed.

6. Share the Patient Result

Once the patient result file is open:

1. Select the Share icon (Apple Share/Send button) located in the upper-right corner of the screen.
2. Select the appropriate sharing method.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the sharing process.

Waggoner CCVT → Patients → Security Password → Select Patient → View → Save → Yes → Files → On My iPad → Waggoner CCVT → Select File → Share

• Always verify the saved file before sharing it.
• Confirm that the patient results and required signature are visible and displayed correctly.
• Saved files using Default Mtehod can be accessed through Files → On My iPad → Waggoner CCVT.
• Ensure proper patient data security protocols are followed when saving patient files.
